A study by the ICARE Foundation into the economic and social impact of unsustainable forest practices and illegal logging on the rural population of Armenia, analysing the results of surveys conducted in 2003 and 2010 by observing trends, carried out in the framework of the ENPI FLEG Programme “Improving Forest Law Enforcement and Governance in the European Neighbourhood Policy East Countries and Russia”, that supports the development of sound and sustainable forest management practices as well as the prevention of illegal forestry activities in the six Eastern Partnership countries and Russia.
