A report analysing female employment in Jordan by analysing the supply and demand of labour in tourism and information and communication technology (ICT) sectors, based on their potential for economic growth and employment generation, with the objective of contributing to the promotion of gender equality policies in Jordan in the areas of education, training and employment. This report is one of the outcomes of the Women and Work project (2008–10) of the European Training Foundation (ETF), an EU agency providing advice and assistance to partner countries in the development of their human capital through the reform of education, training and labour market systems in the context of the EU external relations policy.
