Protecting Bizerte lagoon

From a distance, the view of Lake Bizerte is breath-taking. However, as you get closer to this natural lagoon, the extent of the damage can be seen: a worrying level of pollution resulting from unregulated industrial activity and a lack of public awareness. There is reason to be optimistic however, thanks to an integrated project supported by the European Union to transform the lake.
