The EU-funded Regional Capacity Building Initiative (RCBI) is organising a series of information workshops across the ENPI region for partners preparing project applications for Calls for Proposals under the Black Sea, Mediterranean Sea, Romania-Ukraine-Republic of Moldova and Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine ENPI CBC Programmes.

According to a press release, the aim of the workshops is to provide the opportunity to receive further information and clarification on issues related to the Call. Each workshop will be a semi-structured question-and-answer session on a list of topics, including eligibility, partnerships, application procedures and forms, financial issues and selection of projects.

Funded by the European Union, the RCBI supports partner countries to participate in the ENPI Cross Border Cooperation Programmes 2007-2013. Cross-border cooperation (CBC) is a key priority of the EU’s European Neighbourhood Policy, covering countries of Eastern Europe, the Southern Caucasus and the Southern Mediterranean with a budget of over €1.1 billion. CBC supports sustainable development along both sides of the EU’s external borders, to improve differences in living standards across these borders, and to address the challenges arising from the proximity between regions on both sides of the land and sea borders.
