Euromed Audiovisual opens its door at the Cannes Film Festival

The Euromed Audiovisual programme will be at the Cannes Film Festival from May 16 to 27, setting up a meeting space at the European Producers Villa for professionals from the Southern Mediterranean.

Euromed Audiovisual will also hold a series of meetings and conferences at the European Producers Villa, for which a programme will soon be available online.

Film professionals from the South Mediterranean can apply to the programme for a free pass for a working space and a wireless internet connection, just a few minutes away from the Palais des Festivals. The pass is not an accreditation to the Film Festival or to its Marché du Film.

Anyone interested is invited to send their first name, surname, company name, profession and address to cannes@euromedaudiovisuel.net.

The Euromed Audiovisual III programme aims to contribute to the development and strengthening of the capacity of the film sector in the ENPI South region (Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Occupied Palestinian Territory, Syria, Tunisia) and to contribute significantly to mutual understanding, intercultural dialogue and cultural diversity, in line with the "Strategy for the Development of Euro-Mediterranean Audiovisual Cooperation", approved by Euromed culture ministers in Athens in May 2008.
