Le CESE et la Méditerranée

"Le CESE entretient des contacts réguliers avec les conseils économiques et sociaux existants des pays partenaires et soutient les efforts que ceux-ci déploient pour développer leur fonction consultative auprès de leurs gouvernements respectifs. Il est essentiel pour les gouvernements de consulter la société civile lors du processus d’élaboration et de mise en oeuvre des politiques, faute de quoi leur succès ne peut être garanti. Pour renforcer encore la coopération, le CESE a pris l’initiative d’inviter les présidents des conseils économiques et sociaux des pays partenaires à participer à une session plénière du CESE qui s’est déroulée en février 2010.

Le CESE coopère aussi avec ses homologues pour renforcer le dialogue entre les réseaux de la société civile actifs dans la région euroméditerranéenne, comme l’Union méditerranéenne des Confédérations d’Entreprises(BusinessMed), le Forum Syndical Euromed et le Réseau Euromed de l’économie Sociale (ESMED). Il soutient et facilite la discussion menée entre ces réseaux sur les possibilités de développer le dialogue social au niveau euroméditerranéen."
